Broom Ball

It’s like ice hockey without skates!

Broomball originated in Canada in the early 1900's. Since then it has grown into a popular sport on all levels. Men's women's and coed teams participate both competitively and recreationally.

Broomball is a game played on the ice in your athletic shoes with short broomsticks and a small rubber ball. Ice Hockey goal nets are used.

It’s a great outing for Church groups, Schools, companies or private groups. Bring your favorite tunes and play to your own rhythms.

We supply the nets and ice; you supply the sticks, balls, and the fun!

*Note: Please bring your own brooms and ball. We currently do not provide equipment.*

We will make reservations for Saturday nights starting at 11:00pm (other times and days may be open, so please call to check availability).

For your safety:
Sticks should be all wooden brooms with no plastic or metal; balls should be between 6 – 8 inches in diameter and made of hard plastic or rubber.

What to wear:
Participants should wear long pants, athletic shoes, long sleeve shirts, ski gloves (padded), and a helmet.
