Learn to Skate

  • The United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA) Basic Skills Program has been developed as a beginning ice skating program that is challenging and rewarding - but most of all fun. Participation in the program will enable skaters of all ages and abilities to learn the fundamentals of ice skating while teaching them the skills necessary to advance to a competitive or recreational figure skating, ice hockey, or speed skating program.



Snowplow Sam for Tots (Monday and Saturday)

(Sam 1 —Sam 4 Monday)(Sam 1 & Sam 2 Saturday)

  • Ages 3 to 5
  • Develops coordination and strength
  • Sets up solid foundation for skating

Basic 1-Basic 6 (Monday and Saturday)

     (Levels 1-6 Monday)(Levels 1-4 Saturday)

  • Ages 4 to 17
  • 1-2  Introductory levels
  • 3-6 ABCS = Agility, Balance, Coordination, and Speed

Freestyle (Monday Only)

(Freeskate pre 1-6)

  • Teaches turns, spins, & jumps
  • Focus on quality & skill mastery

 Adult 1-Adult 6 (Monday Only)

(levels 1-6)

  • For beginners & experienced skaters
  • Promotes fitness, balance and coordination
  • Level based on a entry skill level
