Box Office Part-Time Ticketing Supervisor
• Using the in-house ticketing system, sell tickets for all events ticketed for the arena • Dispense general information in regards to ticket prices, event times/dates, parking and directions to the conference center and/or Global Spectrum business office • Ensures that all workstations are clean, stocked with the necessary supplies, flyers/information • Deals with special patron issues • Answers the ADA phone line and box office direct line as needed • General office duties as needed • Reconcile individual ticket sales • Other duties as required
Minimum Requirements:
• Strong computing skills • Ability to work independently •Self Motivated • Maintain a professional business approach to the staff and patrons • Present a calm, knowledgeable appearance to both window and phone patrons • Ability to work in stressful situations • Ability to multi-task • Flexible work availability depending on event schedule – weeknight & weekend day/night availability a must (weekday availability as well, preferred) • Maintain a professional appearance • Successfully interact with box office, administrative, ice hockey and operational staff • Prior customer service experience • Prior management/supervisor experience preferred • Prior cash handling experience preferred • Must be 18 or older and a high school graduate to apply
Desired Skills:
Daily duties include, but not limited to: -Responsibility of supervising Box Office sellers, both on event days/nights and non-event days -Assisting Box Office sellers with exchanges, refunds, voids, and any other ticketing issues that arise either during an event or daily operation -Responsible for seller drawer reconciliation; both cash and credit card charges -Closing out event night deposit and event reports -Cash accountability -Daily and weekly reporting -Resolving Customer Service issues that may arise on an event night or via phone or email -Batch printing tickets Mail and Will Call -Event day prep -Assist sellers with computer or software issues -Responsible for opening and closing the office and prepping the office for opening and tidying up after closing And other duties as required
• Flexible • Must be able to work days, evenings and weekends • Hours based on events scheduled • Must be able to work Labor Day weekend Friday-Sunday
