  • Community Invited to 2nd Annual Touch A Truck on August 18

FREE Interactive Event Presented by 98.9 The Bull

Touch A Truck rolls into Angel Of The Winds Arena parking lot Saturday, August 18 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Kids of all ages are invited to come check out this free family event presented by 98.9 The Bull. Touch A Truck also features a Quiet Hour from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM for children with special needs or sensitive hearing.

Touch A Truck is a FREE, fun, hands-on, educational event for the whole family. Vehicles of all shapes and sizes from fire trucks and emergency vehicles, to a pink tow truck and the arena’s Zamboni, will be on display for children to explore, and they’ll even have a chance to hop up into the driver’s seat. Along with all of the vehicles, there will be a variety of kid-friendly activities.

“We had a great turnout at last year’s Touch A Truck with over 1,000 guests in attendance,” said Everett Public Facilities District President Gary Weikel. “We look forward to hosting the family-friendly event again this year as it provides another opportunity for us to connect with the community.”

Guests are encouraged to donate non-perishable canned food items for the Snohomish County Food Bank as they enter the gates to receive a special discount on future shows and be entered to win free tickets, courtesy of the Boy Scouts of America Mount Baker Council. Local scouts from the Mount Baker Council will be present with a pinewood derby racing station for kids to try out. Net proceeds from Touch A Truck concession sales will also be donated to the local chapter.

The event will take place at the Angel Of The Winds Arena gated parking lot on the corner of Broadway and Wall Street and on the main arena floor. Please enter the event through the parking lot on the corner of Broadway and Wall Street. For more info, visit the Angel Of The Winds Arena website at
